Arch Insurance Australia has announced the promotion of Aisling Hegarty to the position of Head of Professional Indemnity (PI), effective immediately.
This strategic move underscores Arch's dedication to bolstering its PI insurance offerings across the Australian market.

In her new role, Hegarty will oversee the leadership of the PI team, shaping underwriting strategies, and driving the growth of the PI portfolio nationwide. The team provides coverage for a diverse range of professions, including accountants, consultants, design and construction professionals, engineers, environmental specialists, and lawyers. Based in Melbourne, she will report directly to Dominic Brannigan, Regional Manager.

Hegarty's journey with Arch began in 2019 when she joined as a Senior Underwriter. Most recently, she served as the Southern Regional Underwriting Manager, where she was instrumental in developing Arch's PI portfolio across Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia. Her extensive experience also includes financial lines underwriting roles at Chubb, Vero Insurance, and Zurich.

Brannigan expressed his confidence in Hegarty's capabilities, stating, "Aisling's proven track record in developing underwriting strategies and her deep expertise across SME, mid-market, and complex PI risks make her exceptionally well-suited to lead the continued growth of our portfolio and strengthen our relationships with brokers across Australia."

This promotion is a testament to Arch Insurance Australia's commitment to enhancing its professional indemnity services, ensuring that Australian professionals have access to robust and tailored insurance solutions that meet their specific needs.
